Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14, Louisville Classical Academy is hosting an exciting day camp from the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT)! Daily rehearsals will culminate in two performances of Jack and the Beanstalk open to family and friends. The performances will be on Saturday, June 15, at 3 and 6 p.m. at Douglass Christian Church. All campers must be in attendance from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, June 10 in order to be cast in the production.

Camp is located at the LCA Douglass Campus at 2005 Douglass Blvd, 40205. Morning arrival is between 9:30-9:45 a.m. with pick up at 2:30 p.m. When you arrive, you may drive through the carpool lane (immediately to your right as you pull in off of Douglass Blvd) and be greeted at the door, or you may park and walk your child to the door. Pick-up will be handled in the same manner. Early drop-off and aftercare options are available. Campers should bring one light snack, a sack lunch, and bottle for water each day. Please note that we are unable to refrigerate food and DB campus is nut-free.

Please contact LCA’s primary school drama teacher, Carolan Brown, (carolan.brown@louisvilleclassicalacademy.org) with any questions or to register for extended care.

Missoula Children’s Theatre’s mission is to develop “lifeskills in children through participation in the performing arts … including social skills, communication skills, self-discipline, a strong work ethic, an understanding of the team concept and self-esteem.” Learn more about MCT at their site.
