FINANCIAL AID

LCA is committed to preserving its status as a rigorous and affordable independent school in order to share our outstanding program with the entire Louisville community. Not only is our tuition significantly lower than many other independent schools in the Louisville area, but we also provide generous financial aid. Families are welcome to apply for financial aid for their students in kindergarten through 8th grade. Our scholarships are 100% need-based. To qualify for priority financial aid, new families must complete their enrollment by March 15th.

In 24-25, 47% of LCA families received financial assistance, and the average scholarship was $6,770.

TUITION INSURANCE

Tuition Refund Plan

The Tuition Refund Plan ("TRP") provided through a third party insurer, Protect My Tuition, provides insurance protection in the event of a covered separation of Student from Louisville Classical Academy during the school year in accordance with the terms of the TRP. The cost of the TRP for the 24-25 school year is 3.3% of net tuition (after financial aid applied) and will be added to the family’s billing account.

Please review the Protect My Tuition brochure at this link. Parents should note that, as with any insurance coverage, there are exceptions to the coverage provided by TRP and not all reasons for separation are covered. In the event of a non-covered withdrawal or separation, parents remain liable for paying the full remaining tuition balance for the school year.
